Screenshot 1: Code Discount Main Setup
1. Code Discount Main Setup
The Code Discount setup screen is used to create and control a discount code campaign inside the cart drawer. Enter the exact Shopify discount code in the Discount code field. The same code is created or synced with Shopify discounts so customers can use it directly from the cart drawer experience.
Use the Status field to keep the campaign Active or inactive, and use the Rule name field to identify the campaign inside the app. The Preview panel on the right shows how the discount message will appear to customers before you publish or save the setup.
The Maximum discount uses area lets you control how many times the code can be used in total and whether each customer can use it only once. In Discount type, choose Percentage off or Fixed amount off, then enter the discount value. The Display condition section decides when the code becomes visible. You can show the code after customers reach a minimum cart value or after they reach a required product quantity.
Admin note: Save the rule only after confirming the discount code, usage limits, discount type, and display condition are correct.

Screenshot 2: Progress Messages
2. Progress Messages
The Progress messages section controls the customer-facing text that appears before and after the minimum requirement is reached. This section is optional, but it is useful for encouraging customers to add more items or increase the cart value to unlock the discount.
The message before minimum should tell customers what they still need to do. The message after minimum should confirm that the discount is unlocked. Dynamic placeholders such as {{goal}}, {{discount_value_with_off}}, and {{discount_code}} can be used to automatically display the remaining goal, the discount value, and the actual discount code.
For example, the before message can say “Add {{goal}} more to use code {{discount_code}} and get {{discount_value_with_off}}.” After the condition is reached, the message can change to “{{discount_value_with_off}} unlocked with code {{discount_code}}!” This creates a clear conversion path inside the cart drawer.
Admin note: Keep placeholder names exactly as shown. Changing the brackets or variable spelling can stop dynamic values from appearing correctly.

Screenshot 3: Customer Targeting
3. Customer Targeting
The Targeting section defines which customers can see and use the code discount rule. Use Customer target to choose whether the rule applies to all customers or only to customers with specific Shopify customer tags.
When Customers with tag is selected, add the allowed customer tags in the Customer tags field. Tags should be entered as a comma-separated list, such as vip, wholesale, member. The campaign will match these tags against customer profiles in Shopify.
This option is useful when creating exclusive discounts for VIP customers, wholesale buyers, members, returning customers, or any customer group managed through Shopify tags. Make sure the tag spelling matches Shopify exactly to avoid targeting issues.
Admin note: Customer tags must match the Shopify customer profile tags. Extra spaces or spelling differences can prevent the rule from matching customers.

Screenshot 4: Schedule and Active Dates
4. Schedule and Active Dates
The Schedule section controls when the code discount campaign starts and ends. Use the Start date and Start time fields to decide when the rule becomes active. The rule will not appear before the selected start date and time.
Enable Set end date when the campaign should stop automatically. After enabling it, enter the End date and End time. If no end date is set, the campaign can continue running until it is manually disabled or changed to inactive.
Scheduling is helpful for limited-time offers, weekend discounts, seasonal campaigns, launch offers, or flash promotions. Always check the active dates before saving to ensure the campaign appears during the correct sales period.
Admin note: Review start and end times before saving, especially for short campaigns or campaigns running in a different timezone.
