Upsell Products

This document explains all configuration fields and settings available inside the Upsell Products tab of the CartLift app.

Note: In the screenshot above, only the Upsell Products tab is active. Other tabs are blurred to focus on this section.
1. Overview of Upsell Products 
The Upsell Products tab allows merchants to display recommended products inside the cart drawer to increase Average Order Value (AOV).
Upsell items can be shown as a slider (carousel) or static block with custom styling and recommendation logic.
2. Step-by-Step Field Explanation 
Step 1: Enable 
Enable checkbox activates or deactivates the upsell product section.
Step 2: Show as Slider (Carousel) 
When enabled, products display in a horizontal slider format.
Step 3: Autoplay 
Automatically scrolls products in the slider.
Step 4: Section Title 
Define the heading shown above recommended products. 
Example: 'You may also like'.
Step 5: Button Text 
Customize the text shown on the upsell product button. 
Example: 'Add to cart'.
Step 6: Design Customization 
You can customize visual appearance: 
• Background Color 
• Text Color 
• Button Color 
• Border Color 
• Slider Arrow Color
Step 7: Recommendation Mode 
Choose how products are selected: 
• Auto – System recommends based on cart 
• Select Product – Manually choose specific products 
• Select Collection – Recommend entire collection
Step 8: Save Upsell Settings 
Click 'Save Upsell Settings' to apply changes.
3. Preview Panel Explanation 
The Preview panel displays a live example of how upsell products appear in the cart drawer.
You can see: 
• Product image 
• Product price 
• Add to cart button 
• Slider navigation arrows (if enabled)

CartLift also supports additional promotional features: 
  • Free Shipping 
  • Reduced Shipping 
  • Automatic Discounts 
  • Free Product Rewards 
  • Buy X Get Y (BXGY)
5. Best Practices 
  • Recommend complementary products for higher conversions.
  • Use contrasting button colors for better visibility.
  • Keep section title benefit-driven.
  • Limit 4–6 products for optimal performance.
